Pupils take their GCSE English exam in the autumn term of Year 11.

Intervention

 

The English faculty runs regular KS3 and KS4 revision classes and provides other intervention support strategies for grade C/D borderline pupils to help them achieve the best grades possible.

 

Achievement

 

Regular competitions are run throughout the year for young writers, providing the opportunity for pupils to see their stories and poems published.
