Witton Park High School Business and  Enterprise College is in the beautiful setting of Witton Country Park. The school is on two sites, a North Wing and a South Wing Building.   The school is the host site of a City Learning Centre, providing the most up to date facilities for ICT teaching and learning.

In recognition of our high performing status the Department for Education invited the school to apply for a second specialism.  This has been achieved and Witton Park is now a Business, Enterprise and Science College.  An outstanding achievement.

The traditions of the school are clear. We aim to provide a stimulating, secure and disciplined environment in which all children can succeed, to the best of their ability both socially and academically. At the heart of the success is the close co-operation between home and school, the partnership between students, supportive parents/carers and a dedicated staff.

We are committed to ensuring equal opportunities for all our students and are opposed to any form of discrimination. All students and staff are treated with dignity and are made to feel that their particular culture is valued.
School life beyond the classroom is rich and varied. There are clubs, societies, choirs, instrumental groups, outdoor pursuits and community service. Students are actively encouraged to become involved in helping those less fortunate than themselves.

There are also regular concerts, plays and musical productions involving pupils, staff and parents.   Sports include football, cricket, hockey, netball, rounders, tennis, badminton and athletics. A Witton Walkers group is enthusiastically supported.

Ahead of us is an exciting future, a great deal of effort and time has been given to the Building Schools for the Future programme by staff and students.  The work on the new building starts in January 2011 with completion set for September 2012.  As we all work towards this we remain focused on continuing to raise standards and improve the opportunities for our students.
